I understand that Michael hates bios in general, so I'm not going to insult her by attempting to make up one when I can't know half of what might go in it. I figure, the day she posts one on TheBangles.com, I'll post one here. Keep it as close to what she might like as possible. The important notes for our purposes though, are as follows:
Michael had her Runaways moments in 1975, when she was part of the original three-piece with Joan Jett and Sandy West. There is recorded material by way of the "Born To Be Bad" album, but there was no "official" album recorded by this lineup. Michael quit or was fired, depending on who you ask, but either way, she didn't spend much time with the band (nor I think, did she want to). She would not go quietly into that good night however as she emerged in one of the 80's most recognizable bands, The Bangles. A series of charting albums later, The Bangles broke up, only to reunite recently to hit the road again for their new album, "Doll Revolution."
